Calling all runners and “wanna-be” runners….
Beginning September 11, 2021, Heights Yoga Project is proud to host “Yogis Run, Too”. Join us for six weeks of unlimited yoga & barre* designed to condition both your body AND your mind for distance running–just in time for the Amway River Bank Run on October 23.
Studies show that implementing a yoga practice to supplement your running schedule can improve lung capacity; increase endurance; and build strength…helping you cross that finish line in less time, with less risk of injury.
In addition to all the yoga & barre you desire, we’re adding specialty classes to the schedule every week, and offering opportunities to participate in special workshops and events in the studio and around Grand Rapids.
Maybe you’re a seasoned runner, looking to improve the quality of your runs. Maybe you’ve never run a block in your life, but have always wanted to finish a 5K. Whatever your goal, it’s easier to achieve it with support. Participants in Yogis Run, Too can build their community; find support via group classes and a private Facebook group; and can participate in mini training challenges.
Ready to Run??
Yogis Run, Too participants can opt into signing up for the Amway River Bank Run (5K; 10K; 0r 25K) as part of team Heights Yoga Project, and be eligible for a discount on their race entry fee.
Runners who have signed up to run the ARBR as part of team Heights Yoga Project can apply a $30 credit to the cost of the Yogis Run, Too series membership.**
