to offer you an Advanced Teacher Training this August.
The Practice: Yoga Nidra
Experience the power, reap the benefits, and learn to guide Yoga Nidra. This weekend-long training will expand your knowledge of the yoga tradition, and provide you with the tools to–not only experience–but also offer this powerful practice.
While Yoga Nidra is not a substitute for sleep, this conscious meditation practice is widely touted for its ability to leave practitioners feeling rested and relaxed. It is said that 45 minutes of Yoga Nidra (otherwise known as yogic sleep) feels like 3 hours of regular sleep. Feeling well-rested is life changing…but the benefits of this practice go much deeper than that.
The recent explosion of studies that support the benefits and value of practicing meditation include Yoga Nidra, as this is a deeply meditative practice that has the potential to positively impact the overall health and well-being of practitioners.
A training manual will be provided for you. Class will consist of practice, lecture, and interactive exploration. Bring a notebook, yoga mat, and your enthusiasm for learning!
This training qualifies as 14 CEU’s with Yoga Alliance.
This module is a training module of the OmBodies Yoga 300/500-hour Advanced Teacher Training and is available to registrants of the teacher training program. This training can be applied as 14 hours toward the OmBodies Yoga Advanced Teacher Training Certification.
